NGX, CBN, and MinieMoney educate 200 plus students on money management

The Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Group Plc, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and MinieMoney have put together a seminar on money management tips for over 200 students to mark the Global Money Week, a global initiative that promote financial education among young people. The Global Money Week is currently in its 13th edition and the 2025 edition is themed "Think Before You Follow, Wise Money Tomorrow". As part of the 2025 Global Money Week Edition, over 200 students were selected and equipped with essential skills. needed to become financial literacy. The head of trading and products at NGX Mr Abimbola Babalola said that the saving, investing, and managing money wisely are part of the financial literacy needed in shaping students’ futures. Mr Christian Mordi, currently the assistant director at CBN, introduced the ‘Sabi Money’ platform to boost financial education across Nigeria, also emphasized that financial literacy is about discipline and informed decision-making.
