Shopping on Temu just got easier for millions of Nigerians and Africans at large. Thanks to a new partnership, between Verve International and the Chinese-owned e-commerce company, that allows Verve cardholders across the continent to pay directly in their local currencies. This has eliminated the need for a dollar card or costly currency conversions. To pay with your verve card on Temu, all you need to do is choose "Card" as your preferred payment method on the checkout page. Next, enter your verve card details such as card numbers, CVV, expiry date and card PIN. The system will automatically detect your card type and proceed it for authorization. This move puts Temu in further competition with Jumia, Africa’s biggest e-commerce player. And it’s not the first time we’re seeing something like this.
