Many Kuda Bank customers have been asking about the steps to change their phone number on the Kuda App. But you must understand that Kuda Bank dedicates an account number to all users, which is contrary to Mobile Money Operators (MMOs) like OPay and PalmPay that redesign user's registered phone number as account number.
So, you can easily change your phone number on Kuda app but you must know that changing the phone number doesn't change your account number. Once phone number is changed on Kuda, service like SMS alerts, and OTPs will be redirected to the new number.
With that being said, it's also important to know that there's no direct way to change phone number on the Kuda app. You will need to contact the bank's support team to change linked number to a new one.

To do that, kindly login to your Kuda app and sign-in to your account using email and password. Once you're in, click on "More" tab and select "Get Help". You can choose to "Call" and talk to a representative or "Chat" via the in-app live chat on the app.
Preferably, chatting with a customer representative will give room to dive into the situation better than just talking on call. With the in-app chat, you can specify your preference, type in the new number you want and ask the support team to help you change it. Once all the conversation and changes are done, you will get a notification in your email.
