The second phase of mined PI coin migration to mainnet wallet has begun according to several reports from X users. Since then, the PI Network communities, especially the one that their migration was successful in the phase one, has been buzzing with excitement. Many X users have posted images, showing a new item on the checklist, from their Pi Network app.
The second migration phase came as a surprise for those who have already completed their initial migration. However, for those that their initial migration wasn't successful, they said that after approving the process, a green checkmark appeared, which indicates progress. This further gives hope to users that another migration phase maybe underway.
These updates continue to spark increased excitement and curiosity among PI users. They're urging one another to login to their apps and follow through with the process if they'll be able to complete it. One user wrote, “I just saw this in my Mainnet Checklist even though I already received my first migration. Well, I confirmed it anyway and it’s green now. Check yours and do it.”
Even a popular parody account of Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis on X announced, “PI NETWORK 2ND MIGRATION HAS BEGUN!” He outlined the steps for completing the migration. The post gained attention, and encouraged users to finish their KYC, complete the checklist, and get ready for second Mainnet transfers.
However, it’s worth noting that this account is not an official PI account, and the Pi Core Team has not yet verified a new migration phase through their official channels. Meanwhile, a group of people who identify themselves as “Tentative Pioneers” reports being stalled in an unresolved KYC status, even after completing prior steps.
These users claim that they’re stuck in an “abstract KYC” state that blocks them from transferring their transferable balances to mainnet wallet. Many of them are now reaching out to the PiCoreTeam on X, seeking assistance, clarity and fairness in the process.
