President Tinubu Moves to Ease Livestock Export Barriers Between Nigeria and Brazil

Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu, speaking during a bilateral meeting in Rio de Janeiro, announced sweeping measures to dismantle bureaucratic hurdles inhibiting livestock production and exports between Nigeria and Brazil. He emphasized that all lingering administrative “technicalities” would be streamlined to fast-track collaboration in agriculture, trade, energy, aviation, and natural resources. According to the president, this removal of all bottlenecks hindering the agricultural sector’s potential is for the purpose of enabling food sovereignty and boosting exports.
