Step-by-Step Guide: Card Transfer on Moniepoint POS

Here’s the step-by-step process for doing a card transfer on Moniepoint POS:

  • Login to "Moniepoint POS app" on the terminal.
  • Insert or swipe the "customer’s ATM card" into the terminal card slot.
  • Now, navigate to the "Card Transfer" option and input amount to be transferred.
  • Enter the "recipient’s bank name and account number" which the money is to be transferred.
  • Double-check these details to avoid sending money to the wrong account.
  • The customer will be prompted to enter their ATM PIN.
  • Once the PIN is confirmed, the POS will process the transfer and you’ll see a "Transaction Approved" message if the transaction is successful.
  • The POS will print two receipts for future references: one for you (merchant copy) and one for the customer.

If you can't find card transfer option on your terminal, this can happen if you're using old version of the POS app. Navigate to the "App Market" on the POS terminal and tap click "Update" on the homepage of the app to update your Moniepoint POS app. Once the update is completed, you would be directed to install the package and then you click on 'next' to complete the process.
