Meta has officially announced the rollout of Vibes , a new feed in the Meta AI app and on meta.ai, for creating, remixing, and sharing short-form AI-generated videos. The Vibes feed is now the new home for AI-generated short-form videos in the Meta AI app and website. Meanwhile, it's important to note that the Meta AI app and meta.ai are separate from Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger, even though they’re all owned by Meta. The Meta AI app was launched in 2025 as a standalone app dedicated to Meta’s AI assistant. The meta.ai (the website), on the other hand, is a web-based version of the same service. If you go to meta.ai in a browser, you can chat with the Meta AI assistant, generate images (or videos), and access features like Vibes—just like in the mobile app. The Meta AI app includes a “Discover” feed where users can share chats (text, audio, images) with others.
