Netflix, the popular streaming service, will soon make available language options available to TV experience. This feature will allows users to dubbed their preferred languages and subtitles.
Netflix is being used by many ethnics, with different languages, around the world. Although, the platform is based in the United States. But, it's available in over 190 countries around the world.
Contents on the platform are also created in multiple languages, and stream by various people in different countries. These are reasons contents on Netflix need to be enhanced with choice of languages so that streamers can choose their preferred languages and subtitles when it comes to movies and series.
However, it's important to note that this feature has been on other Netflix devices such as users using mobile app or web. The feature has just been extended to users watching Netflix on TV (which refers to smart TVs, streaming boxes, games consoles, etc.).
So, now, Netflix users can apply any combination of languages to any show or movie they're watching on the streaming service on their TV. Before this feature was rolled out, users only get relevant languages based on their regions and settings.

According to Netflix in a press release, the feature is a popular demand from TV users. Meanwhile, as it's seen in the video above, the update helps break down language barriers, making global catalog even more accessible.
It's important to note that nearly one-third of all viewing on Netflix is from non-English speaking shows and movies. So the language dubbing update is indeed a helper for non-english speaking users.
Most importantly, the update makes it easier for people to learn a new language by allowing them to select both audio and subtitle languages directly within the platform. This also eliminates the need for (or use of) third-party apps.
