The United States President Donald Trump, through his Executive Director for Digital Assets Bo Hines, has met with El Salvador President Nayib Bukule to discussed how the two countries will shape global finance through Bitcoin (BTC) and other digital assets. According the X's post that disclosed the meeting on June 5, 2025 the two executives "discussed collaboration between the United States and El Salvador on bitcoin and digital assets."
