However, it's been confirmed today that users can now use PI coins to pay for their Electricity Bills, Airtime Bills, and Data Bills, and this works in countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

The new Boostr app that's integrated on the PI network makes the workings easy, letting users pay for utilities in most countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. How to Use PI's Boostr App

To use the PI's Boostr app to buy data, airtime or pay for other utility bills, you'll need to have PI browser installed on your device. On the PI browser, open the Boostr app and select your country resident and your mobile service provider. Enter your phone number and enter the amount you wish to recharge.

Tap on "Pay" and the amount will be instantly deducted from your PI Mainnet Wallet using the PI coins available in there. The equivalent amount that will be deducted varies per country. So, the equivalent PI coin for the amount of bill you want to purchase will be reviewed to you before you authenticate the transaction.
