Flutterwave Relaunches Send App with 20 MTLs in the US
Flutterwave, provider of multiple software development kits, API and plugins for merchant's payment collections, has announced the relaunched of its flagship remittance service—Send App by Flutterwave—across US states following the acquisition of 20 Money Transmitter Licenses (MTLs). The 20 MTLs it's just secured add to the 14 operations licenses the company secured in 2023. Now, Flutterwave is currently operating under 34 Licenses in the United States, allowing the company to conduct business in various U.S. states and territories independently, without the need for partners or middlemen. With these Licenses, Diasporans in the US can now use Send App by Flutterwave to send money to Nigeria, Ghana, and Egypt. Send App by Flutterwave customers in the United States can now send money from DC, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Michigan, South Carolina, and Tennessee to Nigeria, Ghana, and Egypt.
